Some Extra Tips...

In order to make these posts more credible I enlisted the help of one of my best friends, and personal trainer, Kori. She gave me some really great tips on eating healthy, losing weight, and exercise. Today it's all about eating...

1. Eat 5-6 small meals a day (which we already talked about).

The reason? Your body stays full all day, and you aren't not eating for hours and then stuffing your face. It just makes sense.

2. EAT BREAKFAST!

It speeds up your metabolism for the day and in turn you will eat less. This might be on the border of weight loss, but most healthy eating habits help maintain a good weight :)

3. Make sure you are eating lean protein. For example, white meat chicken, fish, turkey breast and egg whites.

The bottom line here is when protein is not lean it is full of fat. Fat is not good for the body, so let's try and steer clear of that!

4. Enjoy what you eat.

Find a good balance between eating foods that are good for you and the foods that you love. Try and find foods that are healthy and enjoyable. You don't want to force 100 egg whites down your throat when you really don't like them. So if you find that you love salmon and white meat chicken instead of some other foods, then stick to that! You don't need to eat everything.
